Ute Encampment

I read about the Ute encampments in this area and their persistence of lifestyle, despite the burgeoning homesteading and subsequent gold rush. I kept imaging how their people clung to nature and native rituals, as the treaties were violated. At least at night, under the Milky Way, they might have felt Peace.
